Register your interest - Street Tree Planting 2027

The City of Canning encourages residents to support our Urban Forest Strategy by offering street trees for your verge. We provide a range of suitable tree species, including local natives, to improve neighbourhood amenity and support native fauna.

We plant trees in autumn and winter, and provide summer watering for the first two years.

Thank you for your interest in verge tree planting. Please note that the 2026 Request a Street Tree program has now closed. However, you can register your interest for the next round by completing the form below, and we’ll contact you when applications open (typically in October).

Please note:

• The City accepts tree planting requests only from property owners for trees adjacent to their property. Tenants should contact their property agent or owner to submit an application.

• We may make species substitutions based on expert advice and site conditions.
