Lambertia Park playground in Ferndale is getting a makeover!

The Lambertia Park playground design chosen by the community includes the features that you wanted to see: more focus on nature and adventure play and more inclusive and accessible play spaces with better shade.

Lambertia Park's new playground includes traditional style play equipment under shade sails in the main play area, with nature play extension of timber stilts, timber Tee-Pee and Bushpole Rope Balance placed within the natural shade of the existing park tree canopy.

This upgrade is part of our long term Playground Renewal Project, which is guided by our Play Provision Strategy.
