At the Ordinary Meeting of Council, 21 July 2026 Council resolved for officers to prepare a concept design and cost estimate for a fenced dog park at Ferndale Park, Ferndale, with the matter to be considered as part of the 2027/2028 annual budget process.

Consideration of any change to the off-leash status of Lambertia Creek Park, Ferndale has been deferred until Council has determined whether to proceed with the Ferndale Park dog park.
