Background
We want to understand what makes an area a great place to live so that we can factor this in when planning for the City’s future. We want to know about the spaces you use, your environment and how connected you feel to your neighbourhood.
What makes this survey different?
It’s not about us or our services it’s about your quality of life and experience living in Canning. We asked questions to better understand how we can we make your neighbourhood a better place to live. Our community is diverse and we want to make sure that all points of view are captured.
The City used Views I.D - Living in Place survey for the first time and the data captured will help inform ourCorporate Business Plan. This plan is the 'doing' operational plan which is closely linked to the Strategic Community Plan.
Summary of feedback
A deeper understanding of our communities values and needs rather than solely focusing on our services will help us improve experiences in a number of areas.
Next Steps
The feedback we received has helped us plan for future improvements and will continue to inform our upcoming projects and initiatives.
