Consultation has concluded

The City has received the abovementioned development application, which is briefly outlined below:

  • 110 aged care facility units inclusive of independent living units, assisted living units and aged care units for people with significantly high care needs.
  • 82 car bay underground resident and staff parking areas.
  • Five car bay ground level staff car parking area.
  • 20 car bay and four drop off bay visitor car parking area.
  • A variety of facilities associated with the aged care facility including a chapel, theatre, activity room, craft room, hair dresser and village green.

Prior to the Development Assessment Panel making a decision on the application, property owners and occupiers within a 100m radius are invited to view the development plans and supporting reports (as applicable), and make comment on the planning matters that affect their property.

We ask that you consider the following matter(s) and let us know whether you object to or support the development proposal.

The proposed use of ‘Aged Car Facility’ is a “D” – Discretionary use in the Private Community Purposes zoning. Provision of general comments regarding the proposal are welcome.
