Margaret Park Playground

Margaret Park playground in Wilson is getting a makeover!

Thank you for your feedback about the new playground designs you’d like to see in your area!

Now voting has closed, you can check out which design was chosen for your playground by viewing the image in the Photos section on this page.

The Margaret Park playground design chosen by the community includes the features that you wanted to see: more focus on nature and adventure play and more inclusive and accessible play spaces with better shade.

Margaret Park's new playground includes traditional style play equipment in the main play area with nature play extension of log balance beam and steppers trail with a wood Tee-Pee placed under natural shade of the existing park tree canopy.

This upgrade is part of our long term Playground Renewal Project, which is guided by our Play Provision Strategy.
