What is happening at Bentley Hub?

Bentley Hub is closing for Christmas on Friday 24 December 2021 and library services will be transitioning to Hillview Intercultural Community Centre (HICC) opening on Monday 31 January 2022.

Other services, such as the Child Health Clinic and community agencies will remain operating from the site.

Why are services transitioning to HICC?

The opening of the Hillview Intercultural Community Centre will provide the community with a fantastic, new, fit for purpose facility. Featuring a range of community spaces including meeting rooms, activity spaces, commercial kitchen, main hall, intercultural resource collection and computer lab. Hillview will be activated with a range of programs, events and services for all of the community to enjoy.

This opportunity allows the City of Canning to ensure continued access to library services from HICC, as the current Bentley Hub site is leased from Development WA as part of the Bentley 360 redevelopment and does not offer this certainty into the future.
