Event Feedback - Civic Centre Park Amphitheatre 2025/2026

The City of Canning is seeking feedback from local residents in close proximity to the Civic Amphitheatre in Cannington and Wilson, to measure the impact - positive or negative - of events that took place during the 2025/26 financial year. Your feedback will help us plan future events that are enjoyable for attendees and respectful of nearby residents.

Over the past year, the City has hosted a number of events including the ANZAC March and Morning Service and Christmas Carols Concert, along with several community-led events.

We are committed to continuing to activate this space and below are some of the conditions currently put in place prior and during an event to care for local residents.

o Noise levels have been set to a specific level based on professional acoustic services.

o The City monitors sound levels during each approved event.

o Prior event notification letters provided to local residents within a 500m radius.

o All amplified sound concludes by 8.30pm.

In 2025/2026, we introduced new parking guidelines for community events to minimise the impact of parked cars on surrounding streets and installed parking signs along Civic Gardens, and will continue working with community groups in 2026/2027 to improve this process further.
