DA26/0151 – Family Day Care - 9 Dexter Court WILLETTON WA 6155

Consultation has concluded

Your comments are invited!

The City has received a development application for a Family Day Care at the above address.

Reason for Advertising

Western Australia’s planning legislation sets out statutory consultation requirements for a range of planning matters. This allows people who may be impacted by proposals and the community in general to comment on proposal

In this instance, the application is being advertised to nearby owners and occupiers in accordance with the City’s Local Planning Policy LP.11 – Public Consultation of Planning Proposals.

The proposed use is listed as a discretionary 'D' land use under the City’s Local Planning Scheme No. 42. This means that the use is not permitted unless the local government has exercised its discretion by granting development approval.

The City has identified that the proposal may have potential impacts on the amenity of adjoining properties, including the following matters:

  • Operating hours will be Monday to Saturday 6:00am to 7:00pm.
  • Overnight care may be provided between 6:00/6:30pm and 6:00/7:30am on a case-by-case basis for parents working night shifts.
  • Drop-off and pick-up will occur from the driveway by staggered appointment times.
  • The number of children being cared for is limited to maximum of seven (7) children in total four (4) children under pre-school age and three (3) children of school age on the subject site.

What happens following consultation?
