The City has received the above mentioned development application, which is briefly outlined below:
- The proposed Third-Party Digital Format Sign is to be located on the verge Leach Highway Road Reserve, next to the north-bound carriage way.
- The Third-Party Digital Format Sign is single-sided and faces south-east.
- The sign has a total height of 8.9 metres and includes a digital screen with a total area of 39.93m2
- In accordance with Clause 3.3.3 of the City of Canning Local Planning Scheme No.42 (LPS42) the proposed land use is a type not specifically referred to by Table 3 – Zoning Table and is considered to be a “Use Not Listed”.
- The development application is considered to be a “Complex Application” and is to be advertised in accordance with the applicable requirements provided in Table 1: Development Applications, in the City’s Local Planning Policy LP.11 – Public Consultation of Planning Proposals.
Prior to making a decision on the application, members of the public are invited to view the development plans and supporting reports and to provide there comments. Further guidance on what can be considered as a valid planning comment is provided in Part 7 of the City's Local Planning Policy LP-11 which, is provided in the Documents section.
