Canning Vale Green Link

Help Shape the Future of the Canning Vale West Green Link (Serpentine Trunk)

The City of Canning is seeking community feedback on the pathway and green space corridor that runs through Canning Vale between Wilfred Road and Nicholson Road.

This corridor is an important part of the local neighbourhood, providing connections between homes, schools, parks, recreation areas and open space. It is used for walking, cycling, recreation, exercise and everyday community life, while also accommodating important underground services that support the surrounding community.

We're seeking feedback to better understand how the area is currently used, what people value most about it, and where improvements could have the greatest benefit.

We would like to hear from you about:

  • How you currently use the area
  • What you value most about the space
  • Opportunities to improve the corridor
  • The preferred location for a future drinking fountain at Ranford Oval
  • Future outdoor exercise opportunities in the area

Have Your Say

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below.

The survey should take approximately 3-5 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Come and chat with us on Saturday 31 October between 8.30am and 11.30am.

You'll find City staff near the shared path connection between Ranford Primary School and the Canning Vale West Green Link. Drop by to share your ideas, complete the survey and have your say.

If you're unable to attend, you can still share your ideas and help shape the future of the corridor by completing our online survey.

Please complete your submission by Wednesday 18 November 2026
